Not even starting their Mayweather vs Ortiz fight against each other this coming Saturday, both Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Victor Ortiz are exchanging trash talks to each other. In their appearance with the media and boxing fans at Universal CityWalk in University City, you can hear the scream in the entire neighborhood. Most people at Universal CityWalk will support the win of Ortiz while Mayweather boos by the fans when he up on stage. And the former pound for pound king Mayweather doesn't like it.
"I hide my emotions and do not mince words," said Mayweather.
Floyd Jr., gave a negative statement to Ortiz's statement that he considered Oscar De La Hoya like a God. Ortiz was in turn immediately turn to trash talk to Mayweather. According to Ortiz current WBC welterweight champion, he will successfully defended the crown this coming Sunday.
"Mayweather, no more. That '0 'has got to go, "said Ortiz.
Meanwhile, the official referee for the Mayweather vs Ortiz match will be the veteran referee Joe Cortez will be the third man in the ring in the coming fight between Floyd Mayweather vs Victor Ortiz on September 17 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Cortez was the referee for Mayweather rematch win that ended the 12-round decision in 2002 lightweight title defense against Jose Luis Castillo.
Meanwhile, 2007 Mayweather against Ricky Hatton was Cortez who is also the referee. The unbeaten to Mayweather, who grab five championships in five weight divisions will face Ortiz for the World Boxing Council 147-pound welterweight title.
Cortez has not been any referee's against Ortiz, who will have first title defense in which he get from Andre BERTO. Meanwhile serve as judges were veteran Nevada Adelaide Byrd, Glenn Trowbridge and Jerry Roth.
