The Floyd Mayweather vs Victor Ortiz showdown will just be a couple of weeks to go before we witnessed another great boxing fight this year. Mayweather hasn't fought since May 1, 2010 when he beat Shane Mosley. Now when he feels like waking from its slumber, it passes over the entire planet and will contest the title at welterweight (147 pounds) World Boxing Council (WBC) that Victor Ortiz snatched on Berto in April. Floyd
Mayweather, currently still regarded by many as the second best fighter pound for pound.
This Mayweather vs Ortiz fight will happen on the historic MGM Grand in Las Vegas on September 17 this year. So just a couple of weeks to go now.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. (41-0, 25 KOs)is known as a defensive boxer,he always raise his shoulder up to avoid getting hit. For the sake of boxing and hopefully Mayweaher go out to fight with the intensity that made the fight he had against Mosley ... but if it comes elusive running and running and be devoted to hiding his face behind his shoulders (and referee) is a fact that the fight will be boring. Mayweather is very mobile also, get out, sending bursts bulky and win round by round, I think this Mayweather vs Ortiz fight will not change his style and elusive defensive stance at least at the end of his career.
Victor Ortiz (02-02-29, 22 KOs) is on fire. It comes with an unbeaten run of six fights, including his sensational capture of the title when he beat Andre Berto last April 16 this year. The left-hander with devastating knockout power showed itself in his battle for 12 rounds when he survived a fall in the sixth to send assault and returned to the canvas Berto at the end of episode one of the most exciting fight in the boxing this year. If Ortiz will fight Mayweather, as he fought Castillo, has good chances of making a good fight, but he must be prepared for 15 or 18 rounds of sparring sessions at lest or else he will run out of gas early.
Ortiz would say that (I think a guy who excellent boxing) as Berto defends like Floyd, but I really think Mayweather will win as long as he plays a good defensive strategy regarding on the ropes and looking for the backlash. Will be a lot of punches thrown on the fight and Ortiz likely to be failed and Mayweather successfully win by points or by KO. So guys Who are you picking in this Floyd Mayweather vs Victor Ortiz fight? Choose wisely!
